Glasgow Vegan Festival will take place next week in Glasgow Trade Halls in what is being billed by organisers as a celebration of vegan living.
Vegans from across the country are set to attend where more than 50 stalls will promote vegan causes and sell vegan products.
The festival will take place over two days on 14th and 15th April and will welcome vegan food traders from across the world to offer all kinds of delicious treats – from cheese to chocolate to cake.
As well as food stalls will be selling vegan skin care products and make up, clothing, jewellery, pet food and treats as well as raising awareness for animal welfare charities. There shops.will also be cooking demonstrations and yoga workshops.
With vendors like Cool Jerk Vegan Pies and Missy’s Vegan Cupcakes due to set up shop, it’s sure to be a treat.
But the festival is about more than just delicious food and meat-free living.
Organiser Victoria Bryceson revealed the festival had a number of aims.
She said: “We want to advocate how incredibly amazing living a vegan lifestyle is to show that this is the very best way of living and to invite non vegans along to show this.
“We want to create a safe space for vegans with no ingredient or label checking needed and to raise vital funds for animal welfare charities.”
