Dorset Street Food Festival, organised by Street Food Warehouse, took place in Lyme Regis over the Bank Holiday weekend and attracted more than 15000 visitors.
An array of different food was available at stalls along the Marine Parade and the event was a huge success. The festival was so popular, the majority of street food vendors sold out every day.
Caroline Kinderman, event organiser, said: “We loved bringing our street food collective to sunny Lyme Regis. It was fantastic weekend and it was great to see so many happy faces through the site. See you next year.”
The festival coincided with Jazz Jurassica, the town’s jazz festival which took place from Thursday to Monday, meaning the town had more of a buzz than usual.
Performances took place at the Marine Theatre, the Mariners Hotel and The Town Mill, as well as in other locations across the town including a Jazz on the Beach session on Sunday.
Street Food Warehouse has been running Street Food events since 2015 and branched into festivals in 2016, beginning in Devon.
The company hopes the Lyme Regis event is the first of many in Dorset.Tags: Lyme Regis Featured Street Food
