Second Romsey Vegan Festival offers tasty food and lifestyles

Elspeth’s Kitchen Vegan Cakes traded at the event.

Hundreds of people flocked to Romsey’s vegan festival on Saturday when the town’s Crosfield Hall was packed with stalls, speakers, and this time, inflatable animals as one family offered visitors the chance to explore the vegan lifestyle.

With businesses donating vegan goods to sample, it is the town’s second vegan festival this year after the initial success in January.

Amanda Watkins, 47, who organised the second event, said the family couldn’t believe what they had been able to achieve.

Donations were also made to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and other good causes that support the family’s vegan beliefs.
