Wolverhampton’s market move gets thumbs up from traders and customers

The entrance to the site is controversial utilising shipping containers to frame the entrance

Market fans flocked to check out Wolverhampton’s £4.9 million market when it opened to the public for the first time.

And, despite mixed feelings over the entrance which is dominated by shipping containers, both shoppers and stall owners, who were pleased with the design and layout and position since the controversial move from Market Square to the new site opposite the Wulfrun Centre on Cleveland Street.
